Disinfection

Disinfection is a technique used to control bacteria, virus and pathogenic micro-organisms, responsible for transmitting diseases to humans. The disinfection treatments, have little residual effect, so they have to be followed by a good cleaning program. In function of the level of risk of each area, an adequate periodicity is established.

Some of the areas/zones which have to be included in an environmental disinfection plan are: showers, dressing rooms, bathrooms, toilets, changing rooms, dining rooms, gyms, spas, swimming pools or first aid kits.

The most critical sectors are the food industry and of course the hospital sector.

Disinfestation

In case your infestation is caused by insects, always following an inspection of the establishment, the implantation of a disinfestation program will be proceeded with.

This treatment program, establishes different phases depending on the level and type of the infestation, and it’s vital for hospitality businesses, because their quality is linked to the hygiene the clients may find, even though we can’t discard private or public institutions of any kind, where it’s frequent to find plagues of insects such as cockroaches, antes, bed-bugs, wasps, flies and mosquitoes, ticks, silverfish, fleas, moths…

Bird control

Birds are some of the most dangerous animals when it comes to the transmission of illnesses, especially those who are inhabitants of cities which is where most of the population is located. At Trima we use methods which repel birds and favour their departure, guaranteeing a space free of hazards caused by their excrement or high proliferation.

Rat infestation treatments

Rats and mice are one of the most frequent and dangerous pests we can find, especially in urban areas because they can transmit a large number of diseases and contaminate foods. That’s why we carry out a rat extermination, in other words, we implant control systems where the rodents are located and we control these periodically with the aim of avoiding the proliferation of such.

Insect traps

They are a very efficient system for the elimination of insects, especially flying ones. This system generates a light which is attractive for the insects. This makes them go to the insect trap until they get stuck to the adhesive laminates. To keep this equipment in perfect conditions, Trima recommends:

• Leave the system turned on all day, even during the night.
• Place various units depending on the size of the space.
• Keep them as clean as possible to avoid them loosing effectiveness.
• Change the tubes or laminates periodically.

Wood insects

At Trima we treat any problem which is related with wood insects such as termites, woodworm or Hylotrupes.

To eradicate this kind of pest we use a new bait system which completely eradicates the colony, this way we avoid having to use toxic products which can harm both our health and the area which is to be treated.

We carry out the treatment and consequently we follow it up to see if the system has been effective, and if so we carry out a last visit to make sure there are no signs of existing pests.
